The Sakura table is a luminous tribute to the Japanese cherry blossom, a universal symbol of renewal, beauty, and the fleeting nature of life. In this work, the ephemeral grace of the blossom is immortalised within the enduring strength of metal.

The Concept: Inspired by the Hanami tradition—the contemplation of flowers—this piece captures the moment when petals drift onto a still surface. It is a meditation on the cycle of seasons, where the fragility of the flower meets the permanence of the artwork.

The Materials: Crafted in engraved aquatinted maillechort, the table possesses a soft, silvery radiance that evokes a moonlit garden. The cool brilliance of the alloy provides the perfect canvas for the delicate, sprawling branches and blossoms etched into its surface.

The Craftsmanship: The Sakura highlights Emmanuel’s mastery of fine engraving. Each petal and branch is hand-etched with a precision that mimics the complexity of nature.
