The Expandable Reflexion dinner table is a triumph of bespoke design and high-level engineering. Created to meet the needs of a large family while overcoming extreme logistical challenges, this monumental nickel-silver piece redefines the boundaries of contemporary reception furniture.

The Challenge & The Concept: How does one create a 3.80-metre table capable of extending to 5 metres to seat 20 guests, while ensuring it can be delivered to the 14th floor of a residence? Expandable Reflexion is the answer: a structure composed of three individual units, assembled with surgical precision to maintain a fluid, monolithic aesthetic.

The Mechanism: Featuring a sophisticated sliding system at both ends, the table extends with remarkable ease. This entirely integrated and invisible mechanism allows it to transition from a daily family setting to a spectacular banquet table, perfectly illustrating the fusion of art and high-tech engineering.

The Materials: Crafted entirely in engraved aquatinted maillechort , the table captures and reflects light in ever-changing ways. The hand-etched texture brings an organic dimension to its imposing silhouette, softening the rigour of the metal through the richness of the detail.

The table is made up of three individual parts that can be transported, and can be extended at either end by means of a sliding system.
